OUR PROJECTS

FY2022 :
Tan Mok Koon Charity Fund top-up another S$60,000 for the National University of Singapore, Tan Mok Koon Bursary (Endowed Fund). The current bursary fund balance is at S$960,000. A total of 13 undergraduates have benefited from the bursary over the period 2022-2023.



FY2021 :
A total of 33 Undergraduates have benefited from the National University of Singapore, Tan Mok Koon Bursary (Endowed Fund) over the period 2021-2022.



FY2020 :
Due to the negative impact generated by COVID-19 pandemic, no donation was disbursed during the year 2020. On a positive note, the National University of Singapore, Tan Mok Koon Bursary (Endowed Fund) has allowed the university to help 21 recipients over the course of the period 2020-2021.



FY2019 :
The National University of Singapore, Tan Mok Koon Bursary (Endowed Fund) has allowed the university to help 19 students in the academic year 2019-2020.



December 2019 :
Donation of S$15,000 to MINDSville@Napiri Children Wing, to support accommodation, care and protection facilities for neglected or destitute children with intellectual disability.



July 2019 :
Tan Mok Koon Charity Fund Limited made a donation of S$5000 to Compassion Fund Charity Golf 2019 Fund Raising effort.

The fund is to help students in Singapore from low income families who are facing crisis due to death, major illness or an accident in the family.



December 2018 :
Tan Mok Koon Charity Fund Limited made a donation of S$200,000 to National University of Singapore, Tan Mok Koon Bursary (Endowed Fund). The Bursary has aided 10 students over the course of the 2017-2018 academic year.



FY2017 :
In 2017, the National University of Singapore, Tan Mok Koon Bursary (Endowed Fund) has aided 31 students over the course 2017-2018 academic year.



April 2016 :
In alignment with the objective of the Tan Mok Koon Charity Fund Limited, the following donations aim to enhance and aid special and mainstream education for children with special needs in Singapore.

S$20,000 to MINDSville @ Napiri – Children Wing.
To support accommodation, care and protection facilities for neglected or destitute children with intellectual disability. To facilitate specialised training and education such that these individuals can reintegrate back to family and society.

S$60,000 to Eden School.
To support acquisition of resources needed to facilitate specialised education for children (age7-18) with moderate to severe Autism. Education at Eden school will train these children to possess necessary skills and disposition for self-independence.

S$20,000 to Lighthouse School.
To support school’s customised curriculum for students who have visual and/or hearing impairment to continue mainstream education.



Jan 2016 :
Tan Mok Koon Charity Fund Limited to support National University of Singapore Undergraduate Student Aid.

Tan Mok Koon Bursary was established in Jan 2016 by Tan Mok Koon Charity Fund Limited with a donation of S$360,000.00. The bursary will cover the selected needy recipients for their undergraduate studies in the Faculty of Chemical Engineering, Computer Science and Psychology.
